Atelier
André Ferri

André trained as an architect and left the profession in 2015 to work only with wood. In his atelier in Minas Gerais he builds every piece himself, one at a time, with the joints of traditional cabinetmaking. Wood is the protagonist; brass, leather and steel answer back.

Nothing here comes off a line. If two of his chairs sit side by side, the grain will tell you they were different trees.

The four woods

  • SucupiraDense and chocolate-dark. Heavy in the hand, almost oily to the touch.
  • FreijóHoney-toned, even-grained, forgiving. The atelier's default.
  • JequitibáPale and pink-leaning. Used where the joint should disappear.
  • MuiracatiaraStriped like a tiger. Never twice the same board.

All finished in water-based varnish.

    Pick from what is on the floor in Miami, or from the full catalogue of any factory we represent. We'll bring the samples to your showroom if that's easier.

    Specify

    Model, size, wood, finish, fabric. The factories build to order, so a table can be 200 cm or 280 cm without becoming a special project.

  3. 03

    We consolidate

    Several factories, one order. We handle the export, the ocean freight, customs and the paperwork. You never open an import file.

  4. 04

    Delivered

    Straight to your store, anywhere in the United States. One invoice, in dollars, from a Florida company.
